Episode 2: We join Damon and Bonnie as they try to figure out why they are stuck in 1994. Meanwhile, Caroline tries to convince Abby to take in her grandchildren but sadly she leaves them because she is too heartbroken over the loss of Bonnie. Stefan speaks to Haley who with Elijah's help undercovers that the witches are being led by Esther and will stop at nothing to kill the twins. Caroline with the help of Ric decides to take care of the twins and Damon and Bonnie realize that magic is the only way that they will get home to their daughters. However, Bonnie's magic is down for the count.
