Ich hoffe es geht Dir gut! Das heutige Video zeigt Filmaufnahmen von unseren Osterausflug in unsere Nachbarschaft, in die  Stadt Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, zur Wallfahrtskirche "Mariahilf". Die Wallfahrtskirche Mariahilf ist ein katholisches Gotteshaus und liegt auf dem Mariahilfberg ca. 586 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. ​Neben der Straße über den Stadtteil Höhenberg führt ein Kreuzweg mit 367 Stufen zur Kirche empor, auf dem die Stationen des Leidensweges Jesu Christi nachverfolgt werden können. Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts wurde nach dem Vorbild der Grabeskirche in Jerusalem eine kleine Grabkapelle erbaut. 1687 folgte in der Nähe eine hölzerne Marienkapelle mit einer Kopie des berühmten Marienbildes in Innsbruck von Lucas Cranach. Erste Wallfahrten setzten ein und der Rat der Stadt Neumarkt beschloss, den Bau einer festen Kirche.
Die Durchführung des Baus dauerte von 1718 bis 1727. Im Innern der Kirche entfaltet sich ein außergewöhnlicher, barocker Glanz. Ich hoffe ich konnte Dich mit meinen Video begeistern, um dieser Wallfahrtskirche, eventuell auch mal einen Besuch abzustatten. Today's video shows footage from our Easter trip to our neighborhood, to the city of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate, to the "Mariahilf" pilgrimage church. The Mariahilf pilgrimage church is a Catholic church and is located on the Mariahilfberg approx. 586 meters above sea level. ​Next to the road through the Höhenberg district, a Way of the Cross with 367 steps leads up to the church, on which the stages of Jesus Christ's path of suffering can be traced. At the end of the 17th century, a small burial chapel was built based on the model of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. In 1687, a wooden Lady Chapel followed nearby with a copy of the famous image of the Virgin Mary in Innsbruck by Lucas Cranach. The first pilgrimages began and the Neumarkt city council decided to build a permanent church.
The construction lasted from 1718 to 1727. Inside the church an extraordinary, baroque splendor unfolds.
