How to make oval hot glue seals

Описание: Hot glue seals are easy and fun to make!! Today I’ll show you how to make them with an oval shaped wax seal stamp (instead of the standard round stamp). Let’s dive in!!

✨ How to make them:

While your glue gun is heating up, place your wax seal stamp on an icepack. If the metal is cold, it won’t stick to the glue.

Squeeze the glue in an oval shape onto the paper. Then press cold wax stamp into the glue. Let cool for 30-60 seconds. If the stamp doesn’t come easily off the hot glue, let it cool a little more. Once completely cool, remove seal from stamp. Then using scissors cut the paper as close as you can to the hot glue. You’ll be left with an oval hot glue seal with a paper backing.

Color the edge of the seal with a Krylon Gold Leafing Marker. I like to have a lot of ink flow for the edge of the seal. Once dry (10-20 minutes), color on the raised design portion. For the raised design portion, I dab off the ink so there isn’t as much flow. The deeper the stamp impression the easier it will be to color.
