Video demonstrates the construction of a NOT gate (inverter) circuit using an NPN transistor.
This is the first installment in a series of videos focused on constructing digital logic gates using standard value NPN transistors. Each video in this series provides a piece of the foundation necessary for a later set of videos that demonstrate the construction of half adder and full adder circuits using NPN transistors.
Parts List:
(1) npn transistor (2n2222, or 2n3904, 2n4401, BC547)
(1) Normally Open momentary button
(2) leds
(3) 1K resistors
(1) 10K resistor
power supply (5, 6, 9V DC)
hookup wire
breadboard
