A brushtail possum has been reunited with her joey after she was rescued from being caught in a drain pipe in St Lucia by RSPCA Queensland on Monday September 14.
When she was under anaesthetic at the wildlife hospital, staff discovered her engorged teat and a search party was sent out to look for her missing baby.
This adorable reunion occurred later that evening after the joey was located.
Both mum and baby look relieved to be back together again.
