Mistakes I made in the past Webtoon contests and my plan for the Call to Action contest

Synopsis for my short story:
A little boy is imagining how he will look when he is older and working as a stage magician. He does some tricks, then steps into his hat and disappears, leaving behind a jokers card. The kid then wonders where magicians go in disappearing acts and forgets about his latest dream.
The magician falls into the Dream Realm, through a layer called the Dust Stream. He disintegrates as he falls. A bird creature catches him and takes him to a ship on the back of a flying fish. On the ship is a creature called a Duster. Dusters are able to make dream creatures whole. The ship flies up to the Dust Stream and the Duster uses the dream dust in the Dust Stream to make the magician whole. The Duster, Mirror, then explains to Jasper the magician that he is in the Dream Realm and she puts ink on his ear to complete him and prevent him from disintegrating again. He asks why that was happening to him and she explains that it happens to all who fall from the Thinkers. Jasper does not know what a Thinker is. Mirror explains that they repeople, and the dream creatures are their thoughts and dreams. Jasper then says he must be a Thinker then! He explains that he is a magician who was doing a disappearing act and he obviously somehow teleported himself to a different world. The others are shocked that he thinks that. The Bird dude leaves saying this is for the others to handle. Jasper then freaks out wondering how to get back to "The Real World". Mirror says that it's impossible for him to be a Thinker. Oliver comes up on deck and Jasper runs to him excited thinking he is an old friend of his, a big teddy bear. Mirror hands the balloon over to Oliver and Jasper realises that Oliver is not his old friend, that he didn't have an old friend, the "friend" was a little boys teddy bear. The little boy being his Thinker. He accepts that he is actually a Dream Creature.
