As part of her novice journey with the NYC (dis)Order of Sisters of Perpetual
Indulgence, our beloved sister Sharin recently organized a succulent sale at Le Petit Versailles Community Garden, the proceeds of which were donated to the garden for its support and upkeep.
Le Petit Versailles was where Sharin took her novice vows, and it has since become a special space for her (and us!). The plant sale was her way of giving back.
In keeping with the spirit of novice projects, Sharin had help from fellow Sisters who donated clippings, which she propagated, as well as through a contribution of numerous full-grown plants from a Radical Faerie Prince, making her novice project a true community effort.
Leftover plants were donated to the Edie Windsor SAGE Center in Midtown for their clients to take home.
