Operation of the D-type Triplex from Beach 116th Street to Grant Avenue via Broad Channel. We attain a maximum speed of about 48 MPH on the straightaway between Broad Channel and Howard Beach - JFK, something that I did not think that the Triplex and the Standards could accomplish given their relatively poor power to weight ratios. Additionally, note that the BMT/BRT style control stand has the master controller and brake stand positions inverted from the IRT and IND set up. Otherwise, operation style is practically identical to the R9s ( • Shore Line Trolley Museum HD 60fps: R9 168... ). Enjoy the ride, and many thanks to the T/O for allowing me to film this clip =)
