As a result of the former employer not completing his follow-up testing plan, your company will have to resume the completion of the follow-up test as prescribed by as specified by the substance abuse professional (SAP), 49 CFR Part 40, Subparts C, D, E, 49 CFR Part 40, Subpart F, 49 CFR Part 40, Subpart G. The subsequent new employer must obtain the follow-up testing plan from the previous employer, as required in § 382.413, and report the date the follow-up testing plan was completed.
As evidenced by the information stated above, please continue follow-up plans as evidenced by your hire date and drug test that you have received from the prior employer and resume testing the employee until the testing plan has been completed.
