Ukulele Maintenance: Changing Strings on a Pull Through Ukulele Bridge

I had to change strings on a Enya EUR-X1 Soprano Ukulele, which has a pull-through bridge (the strings go through the bridge and the sound board). Generally, remove the old strings, feed in the new strings, tie a bead on the end after they are fed through, and then wind up the strings. A note: I don't do anything special with my strings at the headstock...I feed them through...holding the strings against the nut while winding...leaving extra slack for larger strings (on a normal ukulele, the 3rd and 2nd strings, C and E). I don't loop around the post twice like some others do.
