Pre-Primary celebrated #GrandparentsDay on 13th September 2024 with great pomp and show to cherish the bond between Grandparents and Grandchildren.

The event began with a special welcome song for the grandparents followed by speeches and dance performances from PP students. To reinforce that age is just a number, a few games were organized for grandparents to showcase their skills. The auditorium resonated with the mellifluous voices of the grandparents with their singing and speeches. A few grandparents spoke about their life journey from being parents to grandparents.
The Grandparents appreciated and shared their views on the SGS effort to make a connection between the generations through these events. Grandparents wholeheartedly participated in the programs organized by the School like Language enhancement, Threading, Guess the Song and Dance on a Beat.

The program ended with expressing our deepest gratitude to the grandparents who added more joy and beauty with their presence and wholehearted participation. The Director and The Principal of SGS addressed the gathering and reiterated the role of Grandparents in all our lives, as Grandparents are the family’s greatest treasure. The program certainly brought a feeling that grandparents are indeed the most precious gift of God to the grandchildren!
