WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah - (1/16/2024) – Construction is underway on the new Chief Toquer Reservoir In Washington County.
The new Toquer Reservoir is part of the $94 million Ash Creek Project that will provide an alternative source of water for the Toquerville Secondary Water System (TSWS) by way of a pipeline.
The new secondary water system will allow for the preservation of high-quality potable water from Toquerville Springs. Once completed, it will also provide recreational opportunities including non-motorized boating and fishing.
