Police Officer Attacked by Migrant Group in Cuncolim; Four Held

Описание: Tension prevailed in Cuncolim after a police constable attached to the Cuncolim Police Station was attacked by a group of migrants late Saturday. The officer sustained serious head injuries in the assault and was immediately shifted to the South Goa District Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

According to police sources, the constable was on duty when he was assaulted by the group. Swift action by Cuncolim Police led to the detention of four individuals allegedly involved in the attack.

Authorities confirmed that investigations are underway to ascertain the exact circumstances behind the incident. Police have assured that strict action will be taken against those involved.
