I put this band together in early 1990 in advance of the first Knitting Factory Tour of Europe. It was a magical experience for me in so many ways. The band clicked from our first rehearsals and performance in Frankfurt, Germany.

After that concert, I was approached by both my first record label, Enemy Records, who put out Jump and Now & Now; and my first European agent, Gunnar Pfabe, who booked many wonderful gigs and tours for this band in the early and mid 90s.

It was so moving to play with Lindsey and Reggie again. That magic is still there. It's a great pleasure to share this performance of "That the Peace", with you, which we recorded for our first release on hatArt, Alive in the House of Saints.

During late March of this year, I performed a 12-show retrospective at The Stone in NYC, which gave me a chance to revisit many of my projects from the past 25 years.
