Dr. Marisa Soski (0:00:30) is an alum of San Francisco State University, class of 2013. She now practices as a Naturopathic Doctor in Oregon. Her time at SFSU was pivotal in her journey into the healing arts. She was first exposed to the foundations of natural medicine in HH Studies classes where she learned about the importance of nutrition and heard testimonials of patients who were seeking answers that conventional medicine could not provide.

In 2019 she graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Nutrition. She also completed a one year residency in Naturopathic Oncology and now has a practice helping patients heal from cancer and chronic disease through the use of vitalistic therapies: i.e. nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, mind-body medicine, and more!

Dr. Valerie Hobbs, DAOM, L. Ac., Interim Director at the American College of Traditional Medicine, and Associate Professor (0:22:06) Dr. Hobbs has been a practicing acupuncturist for 25 years. Prior to licensing in acupuncture, she was a direct-entry midwife for 16 years, practicing homebirth delivery, and a Paramedic, serving on a rural ambulance service in southeast Ohio. Today she is a recognized authority in traditional Chinese medicine gynecology.
