The inaugural session of Pakistan’s 11th National Finance Commission (NFC), constituted three months ago, remains uncertain as the proposed Nov 18 date has been postponed following a downward revision in the country’s economic growth forecast to 3.5% for FY2026.
Originally set for Aug 27, the meeting was delayed multiple times, including at the request of the Sindh government due to floods.
