Just picked up Omnisphere 2 power synth by Spectrasonics. If you are into sound design, atmospheric sounds, pads, electronic music etc than this may be a perfect synth for you. If you are like me trying to find a starting ground then this may also be for you. If you personally are going for more instruments than I would recommend Komplete or Komplete Ultimate of any series as that will cover most of your needs. For me Omnisphere fills a void to where I think it compliments my Komplete Ultimate 11 rather than replace it.
