1 Misek-Lankford-Newell-Ratzlaff dual channel buffered phasing unit...
1 Thomas-Seeger 4 port HF isolated distribution amplifier...
4 communications receivers - including a Drake R8 and Drake R8B
We should have the identical signals (and levels) on all receivers...
But we don't. The receivers are out of phase with each other - resulting in different stations appearing at different levels on the same channel.
Our two stations are CBC 690 (Vancouver) and Mexico on 690 out of Tijuana...This is bizarre? Why? It could come down to slightly different lengths of feed lines going to the radios from the distribution amplifier -- or some leakage on one feed-line leading to the imbalance.
