A relatively new comer to the Taiwanese styled fried rice, Fire Rice just opened its second outlet in Toa Payoh in early 2023. In such a short period of time, I must say they really got there s**t together. The little things I noticed as a chef myself is the fact that they pay attention to details from prep to cooking to plating. It is a sign they take their craft seriously and you can taste it from the food. I would recommend the sambal shrimp fried rice and the chicken cutlet. Too bad they were out of chicken wings as something tells me that would taste pretty awesome too. Do support them if you are nearby!
