After several intense days on the road, we finally left the heat and noise behind and entered the real Himalayas — riding from Srinagar in Kashmir, across the Zojila Pass, toward Lamayuru.
The landscape changed completely: from green valleys to bare rock and endless curves in thin mountain air.

We’re four riders — Niels Peter Jensen, Steffen, Vikas from the ‪@GRAVELTV‬ YouTube channel, and me — chasing roads that most people wouldn’t dare to ride.
The heat, the noise, the life here — it’s wild. It’s real. It’s India.

It was a long day of riding, refueling before the last stretch, meeting local riders, and crossing one of the most impressive routes in northern India.
No gas stations for hours, few villages, just mountains and time.
