The new Avengers: Doomsday sneak peek is finally out, and it officially confirms the X-Men are involved! But why is Dr. Doom invading their home?
He’s likely there for one thing: Cerebro. But he doesn't want to track mutants. This theory suggests he wants to weaponize it to hunt down Anchor Beings across the Multiverse.
Just like in Deadpool & Wolverine, if an Anchor Being dies, their universe dies. Doom wants to track them down and purge these unstable timelines on purpose.
But he can't do it alone. He might manipulate Professor X, force the powerful Franklin Richards to power the machine, or even use Monica Rambeau’s multiverse DNA to tune it!
However, Cerebro is just the compass. His ultimate target is the TVA and Loki. Doom blames Loki’s gift of "Free Will" for the incursions that destroyed his family.
He plans to seize Loki's Throne, rewrite the script, and stitch the remaining universe fragments into his own perfect kingdom: Battleworld.
