Ammos Beach, the best sandy town beach in Agios Nikolaos, Crete; 4K DJI Drone, Greece

Описание: Ammos Beach is located 500m south of the Agios Nikolaos lake. It is a long beach which starts near the city's marina, at Nearchou Street. It runs near the stadium of the town and extends to the south, till the Municipal Beach. The part near marina is a beautiful beach with umbrellas, sunbeds, showers, water sports, restaurants and hotels around it. It is located near the city center and its stores. The water is shallow, ideal for little kids and the sea is usually flat.

The Municipal Beach, just southern, is more isolated in relation to the marina beach. The beach, today looks abandoned by the local government, has sand and pebbles in places and the water is shallow. It used to be very neat and well organized with all water sports. Next to it, you would find is a huge park with grass and many trees where you could play mini golf, play in the playground, swim in the pool and enjoy refreshments and food at the bar.

Without a doubt the best organized sandy town beach of Agios Nikolaos. Excellent for families with children as it is very well sheltered from wind and waves. Surrounded by plenty of nice restaurants and cafeterias.
