Caine has divided fans for years on whether he’s chaotic good or a manipulative evil AI

But Gooseworx showed us his true colours before the show even started

Because in the teaser trailer for the show in 2023

We see Pomni obviously scared and confused before Caine tries to do a classic knife trick to less than stellar results

And if we cut (pun not intended) to episode 8, we see Pomni plucked from the circus only to reappear with knives from that teaser in her…uh person

So is this retcon or amazing (eh) attention to detail?
