Описание:
Water in-line stabilization of a victim that is face down submerged, rescuer is using the head chin support in shallow water.
This is the sixth drill for in-line stabilization in the water progression (Aquatics International, "Back Talk", October 2013)
Guidelines:
Victim is 10 feet away from the rescuer submerged face down. Rescuers will start on the deck. Rescuers will ease into the water and move to the victim without causing any unnecessary disturbance in the water. Once the rescuer reaches the victim, they will stabilize the victim using the head chin support.
Rescuers will have up to 20 seconds to stabilize the victims.
This is an all pass drill, meaning all lifeguards must complete the drill for the lifeguard team to receive a pass.
