Even though you still have no Rings for this final zone, this still feels like overkill since you have more than enough moves to defeat both of its bosses.
After Team Sonic defeat the Death Egg Robot, they are chased by a wild explosion out of the star station. Amy notices this from the Earth and takes the Tornado to catch them.
It turns out that they all went Hyper, but Sonic had grabbed Tails and Knuckles to land on top of the Tornado while he continued to fly alongside Amy. They were all even greeted by a whole flock of Hyper Flickies.
And that is the end of the first team of the Sonic Classic Heroes!
