This video shows how to make slingshot target that catches the ammo with basic materials.
Design Notes and Improvements:
I used leather but a lighter fabric will cushion the ammo's landing better. If you still have bounce you might try a second layer of fabric that you have cut vertically so that it looks like strips of fabric hanging down.
Safety Warning:
Don't shoot indoors
Don't shoot heavy ammo at this
