Meet the Experts:
👨🎓 Professor Lorimer Moseley - worked as a physiotherapist for seven years before combining his clinical work with research—a PhD at the University of Sydney Pain Management Research Institute and research positions at the University of Queensland, University of Sydney, and Oxford University, UK. His official qualifications include DSc, PhD, FAAHMS, FACP, HonFFPMANZCA, HonMAPA, BAppSc(Phty)(Hons). He was appointed University of South Australia's Inaugural Chair in Physiotherapy and Professor of Clinical Neurosciences in 2011 and was honoured as a Bradley Distinguished Professor in 2021.
👩🎓 Associate Professor Tasha Stanton - is co-Director of IIMPACT in Health at the University of South Australia, Adelaide. She also leads the Persistent Pain Research Group at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). A clinical pain neuroscientist with original training as a physiotherapist, her research focuses on pain—why do we have it, and why doesn’t it go away?
