What is it like to gather sheep on the hill over the Glendalough Estate?

Описание: we gather sheep on a few different mountains around County Wicklow in Ireland.
this mountain is up over the Glendalough Estate in Annamoe. Towards the end of the gather we come in with the sheep over Lough Dan.
We have about 150 ewes and their lambs on this gather. Johnny owns them and he wants to take away the ram lambs to some better grass lower down.
This gather is a nice one. it is not too big of a day and the sheep are on a very nice hill with no dangerous or difficult places for people sheep or dogs. however, at the start of the gather, the fog looked like it could handicap our chances of getting all the sheep. As we proceeded, the fog started to lift and we could see all the sheep.
the dogs worked the sheep down off the hill and onto a roadway where we made our way with them to the pens.
