Ultimate Artemis Fowl Collection

Описание: Hey! Today is the 5 year anniversary of the Artemis Fowl movie! To celebrate, here is a behemoth of a video that has almost no connection to the movie. Hope you enjoy looking at different copies of the same book over and over.

Indeed, this is not the most algorithm friendly piece of content. It's not flashy or exciting, my editing skills are amateur, and it's long. But I hope I can inspire or impress some die-hard fans who actually care about seeing hundreds of versions of the same book lol

This represents hundreds of hours and dollars hunting online and in-person for every English edition of Artemis Fowl-- most of the dollar value comes from the advance proof copies. When I was a kid, I was always inspired (read: jealous) by collection photos that Matt, the webmaster of Artemis Fowl Confidential, used to post. Now that I am an adult with a job, I figured I'd finally actually fulfill the lifelong dream of having every edition of every Artemis Fowl book. While there are some extraneous things I don't have, and promo items like whiskey bottles from the early 2000's, and editions in other languages of which I have none, I don't feel a great need to move the goalposts any further.

As for the digital files I mention, please remember that nothing on the internet is permanent. If you see something even mildly interesting in your daily time browsing the internet, I highly encourage you to save it to your device by any means available to you. While I do have some digital files that I can't talk about because they're actually kind of special and entrusted to me in confidence, most of my digital archive is just stuff I've downloaded from the internet that was at one point free and possible to access for anyone. Some of the stuff that's since been deleted, I have reuploaded here to this channel.

My number one tip for anyone looking to start their own print edition collection: NEVER buy a book from an online listing that uses a stock image. It'll always be the wrong edition if you're looking for something specific. Always buy from listings that show actual photos of the book so you know what you're getting.

I also want my collection, both physical and digital, to be like a community library. I don't want to be a gatekeeper. If anyone is looking for info on a specific edition, please reach out. To which the answer is almost always yes. Especially between US and UK editions. Many edits are made between regions. It's fascinating stuff if you're a Fowl nerd. Or, "Does the bonus content in the back of this book shed any light on a particular subject?" "What is the best edition for a first-timer?" I am here to answer all those questions and more.
