The steel thickness carries from the spine down to the primary grind offering a more aggressive angle. This helps push material away from the blade as it slices through material. This is a great profile for wood carving a stick at a campsite or for jobs where you want a stronger blade. The Full Height Flat grind initiates the primary grind at the spine and creates a thinner angle. This allows it to slide through material better and is great for food prep at the campsite or for slicing though material.
