Craig has spearheaded the creation of the first high school chapter of Ducks Unlimited in South Dakota, demonstrating exceptional initiative for a student-led organization.
 


During the interview, Sawyer explained how his interest in Ducks Unlimited began after his sister's lacrosse coach, a regional director for the organization, noticed his passion for the outdoors. That spark led to the formation of the Castlewood Varsity Ducks Unlimited chapter, which now includes six dedicated members from both Castlewood and Watertown.
 


The Big Event: The chapter is hosting its inaugural fundraising banquet, the Castlewood Varsity DU Dinner, to support wetlands conservation.
