A brutal murder took place in the Domuhani jungle road area near Khadiapali village, under Kuchinda Police Station in Sambalpur district, Odisha. The victim, identified as Jagannath Palei, was found dead with severe injuries late evening by his elderly father and mother after he failed to return home in time. Jagannath had left early in the morning to sell gupchup — a local street snack — going from village to village, as was his routine. His delayed return prompted his family to search for him, only to find his lifeless body.
