More than 22,000 small and medium traders in Bengaluru have raised alarms after receiving GST notices from the Karnataka government’s Commercial Tax Department.
Around 9,000 traders have been served notices demanding four years of GST dues, ranging from ₹2 lakh to ₹90 lakh, even for essential vendors like milk, fruit, flower, and vegetable sellers.
