MacNeil Tunnel Wash at Water Works Express Auto Spa in Kyle TX

Описание: Today, I'm up at another tunnel wash, this time I'm at the original Water Works Express Auto Spa in Kyle TX along I-35 Frontage Rd.

Water Works Express (not to be confused with the now defunct Waterworks Car Wash & Detail based in San Antonio:    • (PERMANENTLY CLOSED) Belanger Tunnel Wash ...  ) was founded in 1991 and is a privately owned and operated company operating express car washes in north and central TX, and their first (known) site was built in 2013 in Kyle TX and eventually started building more sites around the Hays/Comal county area with this site consisting of MacNeil equipment in its tunnel just like the Kyle location with added updates slowly over time during its lifespan (one of the big updates over time is a few of the dryers were upgraded).

I did buy the 2nd from top dollar Spa Wash package which came out to $18 (not bad considering the average price of most express car washes), and wash quality for this I would rate this a 7/10 (MacNeil tunnels always do such a fantastic job, and this one is no exception), the presoak and opening wax gave a fantastic coating, the first RS-1000 top brush profiled very well, the wheel blasters did great, the triple-foam application gave a fantastic coating, and this tunnel uses the quad pack combo utilizing 2 SuperFlex RS-701 wraps and 2 RS-400 low side washers (this one having the taller 45" brushes), the side washers did great, as did the Superflex wraps that profiled very well, the 2nd set of SuperFlex wrap around brushes profiled very well (along with its respective RS-400 low side washer doing good as well), another coating of soap (likely lava wax) was applied on top of the already thick coating of presoak, the 2nd RW-1000 top brush profiled great, as did the rinse arches for surface protection and spot free rinse passes respectively, and finally this is equipped with Tech 21 dryers consisting of 3 rows of blowers with 3 along the top on the first row, 3 on the top of the 2nd row, and 3 on the 3rd row (with 2 on the side with Sonny Mammoth retrofit side nozzles) for a total of 11 dryers in total, all of which give a fantastic drying experience.
