This is a quick video tutorial from 2dgameartguru.com on game character creation focusing on speed and ease of creation. Instead of drawing the character, I build it in vectors using only circles - trying to finish the game art in 15 minutes.
This video is using Affinity Designer and PixelOver to create game characters quickly and easily a pixel game character. The base shapes are all vector circles, converted to pixels with the help of PixelOver, and touched up a little after.
Most of it can be created with other software tools such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Inkscape with minor alterations and different names for the tools used.
