But fate sent her another man instead. 1000 Ways to Die told of the husband who promised love and gave her bruises; she answered with poison.

Before him came Little Red — the lover who saved her from the streets only to sell her body. Before him, Daddy’s Gun — the first shot that ended years of abuse and burned her childhood home to ash.

From there, the fire never stopped. I Am Vengeance and Marked Men followed a crusade against monsters who wore human skin, until justice and murder became the same prayer. Hunted found her running. The Cage bound her. Never Again broke her free.

Now she’s bleeding out beneath the storm, back where it all began — her childhood house, the ashes still cold beneath the rain. Hunted again, shot and fading, her life of anger, pain, and betrayal finally comes to an end. In her last breath she sees a man watching her — beautiful as death itself. Eyes like night. Breath like flame. She thinks he’s come to take her soul… but he gives her a second chance instead.

She never feels the sun again.

She dies here — and she is reborn.

A man swore love, then sold my skin,
Pimped my body to wolves with a grin.
Two shots to his chest like Daddy’s old game,
I walked from the blood but carried the shame.
Another swore forever but his fists wrote my name,
And now I’m running, just ashes in the rain.

But every hand I trusted left me nothing but grief.

A shadow knelt where my blood had been.
He touched my face, said, “You’ve come too far,”
And smiled beneath the dying stars.
His eyes were night, his breath was flame,
He whispered softly, “Death knows your name.”

He said, “I can give you back the fire,
But you’ll never feel the sun again.
You’ll drink the dark, become desire,
A ghost that love could never mend.”
My lungs were ash, my pulse was gone,
But his kiss pulled me to carry on.
