Vampire: the Masquerade - Akhu - Lector Priests, Theophidian ethics, Setite culture and practices

Описание: In this episode we're taking a look at the blasphemous practice of Akhu, the sorcery of Setite Lector Priests, passed down from their dark god himself, Set, who was cast down into Du'at and ate Apep's black heart.
It goes without saying the lore found in the books doesn't always align with the real life myths and beliefs of ancient Egyptians, nor does it dive too deeply into the nuances and details of ancient Egyptian religious practices, but it still creates a narrative frame which is super fun to explore for players and storytellers alike.

Nothing quite compares to playing a Follower of Set, though there are other Bloodlines which serve anti-cosmic forces and worship adversaries of all that is holy and good (Baali I'm looking at you!). The Setites, however, are in a league of their own, and I simply love the culty flavor of devotion and corruption they bring to the game.
