A small plane crashed into a building in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on Monday, killing at least two people. The aircraft came down in the Silveira neighbourhood in the northeastern part of the city. The plane struck a three-storey building, according to the Minas Gerais fire department. Five people were on board. The pilot and co-pilot died at the scene. Three remaining passengers were rescued in serious condition and taken to hospital. Brazil's Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center, CENIPA, has opened an investigation into the cause of the crash.
