Every year presents a new challenge for marine mammals-2025 was no exception. Last May, MMoME unexpectedly became the only rehab center left to take in harbor seal pups. With your support, we found creative ways to take in more patients from even further away. The best way to share exactly how valuable it has been to help pups that otherwise had nowhere to go…is with this video!
We hope this pup’s story speaks for the many who were able to come in for care this year, and serves as an example of what people experience when they find stranded pups. Helping us face this year’s challenges changed the outcome for this pup, and the family who found him-just one example of many this year. Enjoy tonight’s video celebrating another challenge met!
