AWS Basic Labs: Sect6 - Activity AWS Elastic Beanstalk

Описание: In this lab an elastic beanstalk environment is deployed ahead of time for us. We try to connect to the URL that beanstalk created for this deployment, but we realize that there's no web application that is using the elastic beanstalk deployment, so we decide to upload a web application that will make use of the resources that Elastic Beanstalk had already provisioned. After uploading the application code to Elastic Beanstalk, we're able to connect to the URL that Beanstalk is using to access that application.

As part of this lab, we take a look at what resources have been created to support our application. In this case, we end up finding out that an Application Load Balancer, an Autoscaling group have been created for us. We could also see in the EC2 dashboard that two EC2 instance were running as part of the autoscaling group. We took a look at the Autoscaling group and found out that the minimum and desired capacity for it was 2 EC2 instances, while the maximum capacity was set to 6. In the configuration section of the Beanstalk deployment, we found out that no database server was deployed as part of this web app.
