NOTE *** There are a few loud sounds in the video, mostly when I set down tools or parts on the desk. Next time I make something similar I'll make sure to put down some kind of blanket to dampen those sounds.
I'm dismantling a defective hard drive (bad sectors) as I often do, to recover the magnets that are in there. They are usually quite strong and can be used for many applications, from keeping stubborn cupboard doors closed, to securing a cell phone or tablet using a magnetic mounting system.
