Weather Impact Alert: Severe storms head toward Northeast Ohio

Описание: Things will be getting more active through the middle part of the week. The next Weather Impact Alert will be with us Tuesday night into Wednesday. Strong to severe storms will be possible.

Severe weather will develop to our west on Tuesday. We will watch that closely to see if we can get any leftovers that move towards us overnight. Depending on how things play out, some of those could still be packing a punch as they move through.

A larger system will be working through on Wednesday and that will spark additional shower and storm development.

There's still a lot of question marks, but some of those storms could be strong to severe. Heavy rain will be the biggest concern, with some isolated flooding potential where some of the heaviest rain falls. Other types of severe weather could be possible depending on how conditions unfold throughout the day. The Storm Prediction Center has put a slight risk (2 out of 5) out for most of our viewing area.
