Wrath of Cortex was the first Crash game I ever played. Yeah, not the best introduction to the series. No wonder I never really cared for Crash back then. So despite by childhood experience, I still don't really have any nostalgia for this game.
By the way, if my gameplay of Wrath of Cortex seems very well practiced, that's because my footage of my whole playthrough of the game exploded. So I did another quick run for this video. And I still enjoyed the game well enough a second time around. So yeah, it's a decent enough game that I wasn't bothered too much by that. I've often heard people say that Wrath of Cortex is awful. And I don't think that's the case at all.
