After going from zero offers out of high school to walking on at the University of Michigan, navigating the college football transfer portal, becoming a starter, and earning NFL interest, I thought I had done everything right. I trained for the NFL Draft, spoke with scouts, chased every opportunity, and prepared to take the next step toward playing professional football.

Then I got cut.

In this video, I break down what it’s really like getting cut from the NFL, what the NFL draft process is actually like behind the scenes, and why I ultimately decided to retire from football. This is not just about getting released from a team. It’s about the reality of chasing an NFL career, how thin the margin is between making it and almost making it, and what happens when your football dream comes to an end.
