Описание: Apologies in advance: I forgot to film some of the earlier restoration process. This was another team effort where Jimmy, Rajesh, Me, and Kent all pitched in to figure this thing out. The Beam of light was a Philco product that instead of using a heavy steel needle and tone arm used a lightweight tone arm and sapphire stylus that was much, much gentler on the record. A light source was aimed at a mirror attached to the stylus which then projected onto a photo cell. A interesting idea that due to WW2 and the subsequent introduction of LP's after the war never took off.
