Putin smells nuclear attack amid Russia-Ukraine war as he accuses UK, France of ‘secret transfer’

Описание: Moscow smells a ‘nuclear element’ in its war with Ukraine as western allies are keen to help Kyiv at any cost. Talking to Russian intelligence services, President Putin clearly spoke of the potential ‘dirty nuclear weapons’. Putin went on to say that Moscow's adversaries know that Russia can “end” any such attack on their land. Putin hinted at potential transfer of elements of nuclear weapons technology to Ukraine by its western allies. Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service, on Feb 24, accused Britain & France of preparing to secretly supply Ukraine with nuclear technology. In absence of documented evidence, reported Reuters, French embassy in Moscow told RBC news outlet that the allegations are “an outright lie”. Russia updated its nuclear doctrine in 2024, setting out defensive scenarios under which it would consider using them. Recently, Russia’s Foreign Ministry issued statement, warning of risk & consequences of direct clash between nuclear powers.
