Even as investigation continues into the sensational online trading scams, another major scam has come to light from Assam's transport department.

As per inputs, Bongaigaon DTO Deepak Patwari has been arrested for registering vehicles in the name of Lakshadweep Transport Department. The transport officer Deepak Patwari has been arrested for registering over 400 vehicles in the name of Lakshadweep Transport.

All these vehicles have been registered with fake Lakshadweep registration numbers.
