Sinus Lynge, Creative Director at EFFEKT Architects (DK) presents Daylight Talk #25 titled ‘The nature of light – designing with daylight to reconnect with nature’ in collaboration with the Royal Danish Academy.

‘Daylight Talks’ is organised by the VELUX Group in collaboration with individual schools of architecture and they are endorsed by the International Union of Architects (UIA) and the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE).

Daylight Talk #25: The nature of light – designing with daylight to reconnect with nature

In this lecture, Sinus Lynge, Co-founder and Creative Director of EFFEKT, explores how architecture can frame and enhance our experience of light as it shifts throughout the day and across the seasons. Drawing on EFFEKT’s mission to reconnect people with nature through design at every scale, Sinus shares the studio’s daylight strategies as seen in a series of educational and residential projects in Denmark. Through thoughtful design, daylight becomes more than illumination—it becomes a reminder of our deep connection to nature’s rhythms.
