I was heartbroken this morning to hear the news that Alexi Lahio had passed away. Alexi was someone special, I can count on one hand the number of guitarists who've had as much influence on my playing as he did. Children of Bodom is still one of my favourite bands and this song in particular holds a special place in my heart. I had a CD of Hate Crew Deathroll and I'd have this song set as my alarm, so every day for about 3 years I (and my parents😂) would listen to it first thing in the morning. I hope I've done it justice.
Alexi, the world is less without you.
