This DVD documents the role played by Combat Tracker Teams in the Vietnam War. The mission of the Combat Tracker Team (CTT) is to track the enemy in order to re-establish contact. The team is composed of a visual tracker, tracker dog (Labrador Retriever), two cover men, dog handlers and a scout dog (German Shepherd). This video features Combat Tracker Teams attached to the 25th Infantry Division, the 4th Infantry Division and the 101st Airborne Division. The video provides excellent documentation on the Tracker Team experience. Scenes include dogs in their kennels, tracker teams on base introducing and playing with their dogs; working as a team in the jungle tracking the Viet Cong and much more. It includes an interview with a tracker describing his job and non-narrated film footage.
